Who looks after your details?

JP Garden Services is responsible for the personal information used to handle garden enquiries and jobs. Contact JP on 07354 311009, including to ask about your information or request deletion.

What you choose to share

There is no account, mailing list or online contact form on this website. If you contact JP, we receive what you send: your message and any name, email address, phone number, garden photographs or job details you choose to include. Your phone or email service may also send your number or email address with the message. A phone number may be visible when you call unless you withhold it.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to reply, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange and carry out the work. Steps you ask us to take towards a job, and providing an agreed service, use the contract lawful basis. Handling general questions and keeping appropriate business communications use our legitimate interests in running the business. Records required by law are kept under legal obligation. We do not use enquiries for mailing lists or sell personal information.

Website visits & cookies

This version of the site does not set cookies, use analytics or advertising trackers, or save your choices in browser storage. Fonts and website assets are served with the site. The hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, requested page, browser information and access time to deliver and secure the website. These are technical records, separate from information you choose to put in a message.

Who else handles it?

The hosting provider handles website delivery. Phone and email providers handle communications when those channels are used. Facebook is an external link, not an embedded feed; if you choose to visit or message there, Meta processes information under its own privacy notice. Details may also need to be shared where required by law. We do not add visitors to marketing audiences.

How long is it kept?

Enquiry information is kept only for as long as needed to respond, follow up your request or manage an agreed job. Unneeded messages should be deleted. Some records may need to be retained for tax, legal or dispute-handling reasons. You can ask JP what is held and why it is still needed.

Your choices & deletion

You can ask for a copy of your information, corrections, deletion or a restriction on its use, and object where legitimate interests are relied on. Portability may apply to information provided for a contract. Call or text JP on 07354 311009 to make a request. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain. If a legal reason prevents full deletion, we will explain what must be retained and why.

Contact JP first so we can try to resolve your concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
